Rally Croatia, 08th - 13th April 2026:

After a short break in 2025, the Croatia Rally will return to the WR calendar in 2026. This will take place for the first time around Rijeka from 9 to 12 April 2026.

RIJEKA
Rijeka is Croatia's third largest city and an important maritime centre in Kvarner Bay. Temperatures at this time of year are 15C – 16C degrees. On sunny days, the temperature can reach up to 20C. It can be quite a bit colder in the mornings and evenings.

RALLY:
This iconic rally is taking place for the more than fifty time and for the fifth time with WRC status. The service park is located on the Automotodrom in Grobnik. We will see the shakedown, where the teams test their rally cars before the rally, and during the rally we will see approx. 6-7 special stages.

ARRIVAL:
You can fly to Zagreb Airport, and we have 2–3 transfers to Opatija, where our hotel is located, on Wednesday. Transfer times depend on our guests' arrival times. This means you may have to wait a little while at the airport. On Sunday after the last special stage, there is a transfer to the airport with arrival no later than 6 p.m. On Monday, we will arrive at Zagreb Airport by 10:00 a.m. at the latest. The journey time from/to the airport to the hotel is approximately 2 hours.

There is also a small airport in Rijeka. The transfer time from here is approximately 45 minutes. You will need to arrange your own transfer from this airport.

HOTEL:
The Rallytravels Hotel is the 4* Hotel Adriatic in Opatija. Opatija is a historic seaside resort on Kvarner Bay in Croatia, known for its Habsburg-era architecture and mild climate.

BUS:
Rallytravels will be travelling to the stages in a 45-seater bus.

FOOD AND DRINK:
There is a restaurant in the hotel and there are also restaurants in the immediate vicinity. During the rally days, there are always places at the stages with snack stands or restaurants. We will also stop at rest areas if time permits during the stages. Nevertheless, it is recommended that you always carry a rucksack with the necessary drinks and food. Small collapsible camping chairs are also very helpful.

We have rally fans from all over the world with us, mostly from Sweden, Austria, Norway, Germany and France. The tour guide is in Swedish, German, English and French.

Our Rallytravels guides are all infected with the rally virus and work in various positions within the rally world, so they are well qualified to answer your questions.

Our regular crew are Per Carlsson and Claudia Bidlas, who accompany on all trips. When necessary, they are supported by Miriam Waldfridsson, Marc Hermes, Cathi Schmidt and Roger Turesson.
